Palliative Care Center
About Us
We, our doctors and ward staff provide palliative care focusing on distress in both patients and their families.
We cope with “physical distress” (physical pain, difficulty breathing, etc.), “psychological problems” (mental pain, etc.), and “social problems” (works, life, etc.) not only for the patients with cancer but for any patients.
In addition, we provide care for “spiritual pain” which is caused by a lack of self-affirmation.
We would like to respond to problems and concerns on our patients’ treatment and their life ahead by being a role of “decision-making support” for both patients and their families.
Our hospital does not have palliative care inpatient wards, however, our various professionals provide care to patients and their families to enable the patients to spend their days wherever they wish.
