The Department of Neurology at Toho University provides comprehensive consultative, diagnostic, and treatment services for patients with neurological diseases. The department takes pride in training the next generation of medical students and neurologists and conducts research to advance the art and science of neurology and provide meaningful new therapies for patients. The department’s main focus areas are amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), Parkinson’s disease, dementia, movement disorders, multiple sclerosis, myasthenia gravis, and stroke. With a motivating passion for overcoming intractable neurological diseases, we strive daily to improve the quality of life for patients suffering from neurological disorders.

The Toho University Omori Medical Center is the only university hospital located in Ota Ward, Tokyo, which has a population of more than 700,000 people. Additionally, the hospital is in close proximity to Haneda International Airport, allowing for easy travel for both local and international patients.
