Department of Otorhinolaryngology (ENT Clinic)
About Us
We proactively perform surgery for a wide range of diseases including nasal/sinus diseases, middle ear diseases, head and neck tumor, larynx (dysphonia in particular), and tonsillar diseases. At present, we perform more than 1,500 surgeries in a year and the count is more than 10 years ago. We also provide professional diagnoses and treatments for equilibrium disorder (dizziness), neural hearing loss, infantile deafness, facial nerve paralysis, etc. other than surgical treatments.
In addition to clinical practices, research and education are our important mission as a university hospital as well. We carry out the research regarding “Clarification on pathological mechanism of intractable sinusitis”, “Significance of nasal / paranasal cavity”, “Regeneration of paranasal membrane”, etc. as our major subjects. Furthermore, we strive to contribute to society through proactive education for students and doctors.
