We are a long-established department which split off and became independent from the dermatology and urology department in August 1965. Prof. Ishizu assumed the post of the first chair of this department and I have been in charge of the sixth chair since June 2010.
Dermatologists have responsibility for always paying attention to medical advances and treating patients based on the latest findings. We strive to provide medical care with our motto is to make accurate diagnoses of any cutaneous diseases based on the latest findings and respond with our best efforts.
