We, Oral Surgery of Toho University Omori Medical Center, cover wide spectrum of diseases related to “oral and maxillofacial area”. We treat surgical diseases such as oral cancer, jaw deformity, temporomandibular joint disorder, severe inflammation such as osteomyelitis of the jaw and trauma etc. We also provide a dental implant (artificial dental root) treatment, support for an eating disorder/dysphagia (difficulty swallowing), surgical treatment to patients under the care of other departments, oral environment checkup or oral hygiene care for patients scheduled for surgery or chemotherapy in other departments.

Notes:

• We are a medical facility specializing in oral surgery, so that we do not offer general dentist’s services such as treatment for tooth decay and periodontitis as well as denture construction.
• In principle, before visiting us, patients are requested to get a referral letter from their regular dentists and make an appointment for their first visit at our Regional Medical Support Center.
